Facts about Uganda
Uganda is also known as the Pearl of Africa. This nickname was coined by Winston Churchill Hill in his book “My African Journey” because of the rich culture in the country, biodiverse wildlife, and natural breathtaking views.
There are a few mountain gorillas that exist in the world and more than half of them are found in Uganda. With most of them residing in Bwindi’s Impenetrable forest, the rest are found in the wondrous areas of Mgahinga National Park.

With over 500 living in the pristine environment of Bwindi, tourists get a chance to catch sight of any gorilla family of their choice during a 1-hour gorilla trekking adventure or the 4-hours gorilla habituation experience.
