Expect to explore Nairobi National Park, the closest park to the capital, Nairobi, a perfect start to your safari. After a night at the park, you will proceed to Amboseli National Park for a breathtaking experience. Further west of the park, you will move to Tsavo West National Park, a land that offers an unbeatable experience of culture and wildlife. You will later visit Tsavo East National Park to encounter some of Africa’s incredible savannah wildlife species. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Nairobi National Park
Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, our guide driver will welcome you and brief you shortly on how your trip will go. Experience the blend of the city and people as you journey through it. You will have a lunch stopover in the city and enjoy the local cuisine before proceeding. In the afternoon, you will head to Nairobi National Park and check into your booked lodge. This is the closest national park to the city, and it is because of this reason that it was named after it. As evening clocks in, you will have dinner and rest.

Day 2: Morning game drive and visit Kifaru Ark
At Cockcrow, you will wake up to a delicious early breakfast to prepare you for the day. Take on a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park for a wildlife encounter adventure experience. Expect to spot a variety of wildlife species from the 4 of the Big 5 lions, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos to other species like impala, wildebeest, Hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, cheetahs, hippos, waterbucks, common warthogs, jackals, and elands to mention but a few. You will also come across several birds like Laughingthrushes, mousebirds, Monarch flycatchers, honeyguides, cuckoo shrikes, Viduidae, drongos, bushshrike, etc. Return to the lodge in the park for your delicious lunch. After that, you will head to the other side of the park at Kifaru Ark for an encounter with the endangered black rhinos. The Kifaru Ark was set up in the park as an anti-poaching effort to protect the black rhinos. Nairobi National Park is one of the few places to spot the black and white rhinos in their natural habitat. This black rhino encounter experience will take you until evening, when you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park and afternoon game drive
As the day breaks from the clutches of the night, you will be woken up by the sweet melodies of the birds singing. You will be served a delicious breakfast and then check out for your transfer to Amboseli National Park. This incredible 3-4 hours journey will be a road experience like no other as you will be stunned by the picturesque scenes of the countryside compared to the city side. As the sun moves overhead, you will be checking into your lodge inside the park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take on a game drive experience in the elephant plains of the park. Amboseli National Park is popular for hosting large herds of African elephants that can be sighted as they feed on the savannah plains. Other animals to encounter include cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, serval car, oribis, cheetahs, jackals, etc. This game viewing experience will take you until evening, when you return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park and cultural encounters

In the morning, you will wake up to an early breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Our guide driver will then drive you to Tsavo West National Park. You spot the beautiful backdrop views of Mountain Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa’s tallest mountain, while on your journey. By noon, you will be arriving at the lodge in the park for your lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will have a cultural encounter with the Maasai people. These people have coexisted with the wildlife for a long time. You interact with the Maasai people and learn their culture, from norms and beliefs to values. The Maasai people are traditional cattle keepers and rear their livestock together with the wildlife. You will learn the skills of the Maasai warriors as they protect their cattle. This cultural experience will last till evening when you head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Tsavo East National Park
At dawn, you will have an early breakfast, and our guide driver will transfer you to the park for a morning game drive experience. The vast landscape of the park harbors a variety of species, from mammals to birds and primates. The notable wildlife species to encounter include the Big 5 lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and elephants as they roam the savannah. These and other species like warthogs, hyenas, elands, waterbucks, and reedbucks you will discover before heading back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will check out of the lodge and head to Tsavo East National Park. You will journey through the evening on the countryside road with stunning scenes until you get to your lodge. After checking into the lodge, you will have dinner and rest.

Day 6: Game drive and transfer to Diani Beach
After a hot, delicious early breakfast at your lodge, you will be led out to the park for a game drive experience by our guide driver. This game drive will uncover the hidden gems of the park right before your eyes. You will encounter several wildlife species like lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and waterbucks and enjoy the scenic flat savannah landscape. You will be driven back to the lodge for lunch and check out after. As the sun heads west, you will be transferred to Diani Beach from Tsavo East National Park. You will be checking into your booked lodge for dinner by dusk and later overnight.

Day 7: Water sports and beach experiences
Off the hot savannah experiences, you will switch to a relaxation mode while at the beach. Your day will begin as normal with an early breakfast. With a cold glass of fresh juice, you will be guided to the pristine white sand beach. You will have a relaxing time on the beach as you take in the warm vitamin D morning sun. As it gets hotter, dive into the crystal blue waters of the Indian Ocean for a swim. Discover the different fish species as you swim side by side with them. Later, after enjoying your delightful lunch, you will fully explore the beach and enjoy beach games like soccer and volleyball, or just relax on the white sand, breathing in the fresh ocean breeze. As it gets dark, this will mark the edge of your 8 days Kenya bush and beach safari. Dinner will be served at your booked lodge, and rest for the night ahead.

Day 8: Departure
The final day of your 8 days Kenya bush and beach safari will be started with a delicious early breakfast. After checking out of the lodge at Diani Beach, our guide driver will journey you across the countryside back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Through the city to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will arrive by evening just in time for your departure flight back home.
