Safari Overview
Embark on our captivating 4 days Serengeti migration safari to witness one of the world’s wildlife spectacles. The 4-day trip takes you to the spectacular Serengeti National Park, a 14,763 sq. km protected area for you to enjoy a lifetime encounter with wildebeest. The key highlight of your safari is the dramatic river crossing where you will be blown away by the massive herds of wildebeest and other grazers as they cross the river.
Over 2 million wildebeest embark on a dramatic journey to search for areas with palatable pasture and water. Other grazers join the wildebeest in the search and their journey comes with interference from predators such as hyenas, lions, cheetahs, etc. On this short wildlife safari to Serengeti, expect to begin and end your journey in Arusha city.
Detailed Trip
Day 1: Transfer by road to Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in your respective accommodation facility in Arusha. After, expect to start your road trip in a 4×4 safari vehicle navigating via the scenic highland areas in the countryside to Serengeti National Park. En route, you have multiple spots to have photography and relaxation moments at leisure.
The entire journey is expected to last for 6 hours and en route, you will enjoy a packed lunch. Upon arrival at the Serengeti, expect to get blown away by the natural beauty of the park. Check in your safari camp or lodge to chill and depending on the arrival time, those who get to the park may have a chance to go on the late afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Have a full day in Serengeti
Get up early to get yourself ready for a full-day excursion in the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Today’s safari inspiration will be to witness the Great Migration with an expert. Embark on a driver-guided game drive in a 4×4 vehicle and expect to enjoy the view of diverse wildlife.
The most dramatic moment will be the river crossing as wildebeest cross to Kenya’s Masai Mara. The dramatic wildebeest migration experience is best enjoyed around July to September. Today’s long day wildlife tour includes a picnic lunch and you continue with a search for more wildlife including the Big 5 game. Expect to get back to the safari camp or lodge later where you will settle for a leisure dinner and then have an overnight.
Day 3: Enjoy a captivating morning game drive
Have a leisurely breakfast early morning and after, head off for a thrilling game drive. You will have the opportunity to encounter more animals including those you never spotted during the previous Great Migration excursion. Today’s safari includes a picnic lunch or you can get back to have a meal at the lodge and proceed with the afternoon game drive session with an experienced park ranger guide.

The morning game drive comes with possible sightings such as wildebeest, lions, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, and other small mammals. You also stand a chance to spot different birds and iconic birds in this park include ostriches, cardinal woodpeckers, Kori bustards, lilac-breasted rollers, superb starling, red-eyed dove, laughing doves, dusky turtle-dove, rock pigeon, curlew sandpiper, Eurasian curlew, and others.
Day 4: Departure from Serengeti to Arusha –Tanzania
At leisure, have a cup of tea or coffee, and after, check out of your safari camp or lodge. Ensure that everything that belongs to you is safely packed in the vehicle and today, you will be driven back to Arusha. Arrive in the afternoon to be dropped off at the hotel or airport and today concludes your wildlife adventure in the premier Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
