Overview
Take part in this amazing safari that will take you to visit the Masai Mara National Reserve where you will enjoy game drives, have optional visit to Masai cultural community/village or take a hot air ballooning. Masai mara is one of the largest protected areas in Kenya homing the African big five animals and also unique and rare mammals like the wildebeests, zebras, giraffes and many more others. The safari will include enjoying beautiful scenery of the rift valley escarpment.
Detailed itinerary
Day1. Pickup from Nairobi and head to Masai mara NR
The driver guide will pick you from the airport and make a transfer to Masai mara national reserve as you encounter different scenery of different villages. The journey is also through the rift valley escarpments and here, take photos and record videos for your memories.
Depending on your arrival time, take an evening game drive where you expect meet animals like Cheetah, Giraffe, elephants, Zebra, rhinos and many more others. Head to the lodge for your dinner and for your first night.
Day2. Full day Mara safari
Take a full day game drive in Mara plains to enjoy the beautiful savannahs full of abundant wildlife such lions, wildebeests, elephants, duikers, crocodiles, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, baboons, vervet monkeys, bat eared fox, jackals, impalas, elands and many more. Witness the annual wildebeest migration together with zebras if you are in the month of migration.
Have an optional of visiting the Masai community with their unique culture of cattle keeping. You can also opt to take a hot air ballooning tour to have an aerial view of the savannah plains.
Day3. Morning game drive and travel back to Nairobi
Have a morning game drive to finalize with the Reserve and spot what you would have missed the previous day. After head back to Nairobi and fly back home, this will mark the end of the safari.
