The last day of your 2 days gorilla tour in Rwanda will begin with an early delicious breakfast at daybreak. Our professional guide driver will then drive you to the park head offices for a pre-trekking briefing. This briefing is meant to prepare you for the gorilla trekking experience by taking you through the rules and regulations of mountain gorilla trekking. The briefing also takes you through the expected code of conduct when in the presence of the primates. After briefing, you will then be categorized into groups of 8 people and be allocated a gorilla family to trek. An assigned professional guide range will then lead you through the steep topography into the jungles of Volcanoes National Park. You will traverse the steep and muddy terrain and the dense vegetation while on your way to the gorilla habitat. After about 4-5 hours, you will get to the mountain gorillas. Here, you will spend an hour in their presence, watching them feed, play, rest, and groom their young as you take memorable pictures. After this jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas, you will head back to the park offices. Here, our guide driver will be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for your lunch. In the afternoon, you will check out of the lodge and hit the road back to the airport.
