Evengelisim & Discipleship Program

This program aims at spreading the message of love, compassion, and faith by visiting schools across the region, nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a sense of purpose among students.

The School Ministry: Spreading the Message of Love

HADC’s School Ministry is a cornerstone of its evangelism and discipleship efforts, targeting students in Namawojjolo and nearby areas. The program involves volunteers and staff visiting local primary and secondary schools to share messages of love, hope, and Christian values. Rooted in HADC’s guiding principles of faith and integrity, the ministry engages students through sermons, worship sessions, and interactive discussions, aiming to inspire moral development and spiritual resilience.
In 2025, the School Ministry reached over 500 students across 10 schools, including the Dream Kindergarten & Junior School and neighboring institutions along Jinja Road. Sessions, typically held during school assemblies or special events, emphasize themes like forgiveness, kindness, and perseverance, resonating with Uganda’s youth, many of whom face challenges like poverty and family instability. The ministry’s impact is evident: teachers report that 70% of students involved show improved behavior and engagement, according to HADC’s 2024 community feedback.

Origins and Alignment with HADC’s Vision

The School Ministry traces its roots to HADC’s founding in 2020, sparked by the founder’s faith-inspired journey with a donated guitar. Early gatherings used music and prayer to unite children, evolving into structured programs like the Saturday feeding initiative and the Child Sponsorship Program ($35/month for education and meals). The ministry builds on this foundation, extending HADC’s spiritual outreach to schools, much like the founder’s initial efforts to instill hope through community connection.

The program aligns with HADC’s holistic approach, complementing its education and sports initiatives. It draws inspiration from organizations like Abaana Ministries, which integrates Christian teaching into child sponsorship, and Sports Outreach Ministry, which combines evangelism with sports in Gulu. By fostering discipleship, the ministry equips students to embody HADC’s values, creating ripple effects in families and communities.
