Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Wake up to the songs of the various birds in the park and have a delicious breakfast. Be transferred to the briefing center at the head offices by our driver guide for a pre-briefing. Keep in mind the rules and regulations fed to you by the officials at this briefing for a successful trek.

Gorillas are sensitive to outsiders, thus you are grouped into groups of 8 people to relieve off stress that can be caused by many people from the primates. With the help of a guide ranger, navigate the forests for the assigned gorilla family. In about 4-5 hours searching for the gorilla family, encounter them one-on-one as you watch them play, feed, and rest. An hour will be allowed to you to spend with the primates in their natural environment. Return to the briefing center and proceed to the lodge for lunch. Next on your agenda will be the Batwa cultural experience in the afternoon.
The Batwa people are known as the forest keepers as they dwelled in the forest of Bwindi for generations before its establishment. Learn about the different skills they used in the forest for their survival. Dive into their history and cultural existence of the Batwa and get entertained through their traditional songs and dances. Journey back to the lodge for dinner and rest for the night ahead.
